Thank you to everyone that participated in our monthly poster sessions for students to practice giving presentations and to get feedback on their research. We will no longer be holding these sessions as the Vice President for Research will organize a larger community effort to unite the campus imaging groups.
What are the most exciting topics in physical chemsitry? What important questions are going unanswered? Where do we want our field to be in 10 years? What barriers require attention in order to meet our goals? How can experimental and theoretical physical chemists work together to define institutional and national directions in chemistry and interdisciplinary science and engineering? These are the general subjects to be discussed at the first Wintergreen Meeting of Physical Chemists.
The Physical Chemistry ACS Technical Division (PHYS) promotes the research and intellectual exchange in physical chemistry, both experimental and theoretical, through which we understand chemistry. PHYS hosts webinars on Zoom and YouTube.
